2014 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt (Item 19)

A Public Garden
Instead of walking in the Arroyo today (too hot),
we decided to venture around Pasadena.
This little rose garden in Central Park sits just south of Castle Green.
Built in 1898, the Castle Green was a posh resort.
Now, it is a condominium complex.
Some say it is haunted.

Anyway, it's across the street from Stat's.
I love that place!
I found some blue mini lights for my patriotic banner project.
Here I am, behind the cattle, looking for my lights.
What did you do this weekend?

  1. I was in that park last summer! My daughter's relay team was running at the Arcadia meet, and we were staying in Pasadena. We went there to take some pictures. It was beautiful!

    1. Pasadena has really changed in the last 30 years! I hope they're able to restore the Castle Green. I just love the craftsmanship.

    1. Yes, I enjoy the Norton Sim, too. Huntington Library is one of my most favorite places (and the Arboretum, but that's Arcadia). I've been going to these places my whole life.
