2014 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt (Item 17)

I'm skipping ahead on the 2014 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt.

Today, I found item 17 - a lamp post (actually two).

 These lamp posts are located in Pasadena, CA at the corner 

of San Rafael Avenue and Nithsdale Road.

Many Saturdays, we take San Rafael Avenue 

on our way to walk in the lower Arroyo Seco.

I've always enjoyed these vintage lamp posts.
They are located just across the street from Wayne Manor,
named for being the "TV home" of Bruce Wayne/Batman
 (currently rumored to be owned by Paul McCartney).

This is a very beautiful, interesting, and famous neighborhood,

full of mansions with high walls and hidden secrets.

Anyway, today was a beautiful day for walking.
