Magical Night in Venice

Come join me for a night of magic through the canals of Venice...
This book/clock I made contains a working clock modeled after
the Clock Tower (Torre dell'Orologio) at Liberty Square in Udine, Italy.
The center solar dial rotates to mesmerize.
A miniature gondolier escorts a young masquerading couple
through the glistening canal waters.
This was so much fun to make!
Off to the next one...
Have a great week!

  1. The "sun" in the middle actually turns? Like a second hand?

    1. Yes, the clock mechanism has a continuous second hand sweep but the sun spins continuously instead.

  2. What a great altered book project. I think this truly is one of a kind.
